Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to alerts and events via monitoring tools such as SCOM.
• Ensure optimal performance and integrity of servers and hardware through effective troubleshooting.
• Liaise with on-site technicians and resolution teams to address issues.
• Document and track incidents and system issues.
• Understand and apply basic security technologies and server architectures, including cloud and on-premises configurations.
• Administer Linux (particularly RHEL) and Windows systems, including monitoring and script management.
• Employ common troubleshooting tools like ping, traceroute, netstat, and others.
• Engage with APIs to enhance automation and efficiency.
• Manage and troubleshoot software patches and upgrades while providing support.
• Maintain up-to-date system documentation and operational procedures.

Skills Required

• Ability to work flexible and rotational shifts, including varied week-offs.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization skills within IT and ITES support environments.
• Strong communication skills in English, capable of handling sensitive situations with diplomacy.
• Independent and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
• ITIL v3 or v4 certification is beneficial.
