Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in multiple agile teams to analyze system requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and S&P Global’s values.
• Apply strong software engineering principles and practices to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and adherence to agile methodologies.
• Serve as a change champion, initiating and driving initiatives to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and foster continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of projects and initiatives, leading them from conception to successful implementation.
• Uphold a commitment to integrity and ethical behavior in all aspects of work.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
• Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, with a preference for Agile methodologies.
• Strong programming skills and hands-on development experience with C# and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in relational database management systems (RDMS) and NoSQL concepts, with the ability to read and manage data effectively.
• Familiarity with REST architectural style, OpenAPI Specification, and experience with API-first development.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure, coupled with some familiarity with DevOps tools.
• Proven resourcefulness and a can-do attitude in tackling challenges and driving results.
