Responsibilities

• Deliver technical assistance for a variety of GCP setups, inclusive of virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and container technologies.
• Employ diagnostic tools to troubleshoot performance issues and security threats.
• Innovate with automation scripts to enhance efficiency in infrastructure management and incident handling.
• Commit to ongoing enhancements focusing on monitoring, optimizing performance, and reducing costs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest GCP innovations and industry best practices.
• Foster collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth operations of GCP infrastructures.
• Maintain detailed documentation of technical processes to ensure consistency and facilitate the sharing of knowledge.

Technical Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• Demonstrated experience in roles such as Cloud Engineer, preferably with a focus on support or operations, and a solid grounding in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deep understanding of GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Skills in Linux administration and scripting with Bash or Python.
• Exposure to FastAPI for backend API creation and knowledge of TypeScript and Angular for frontend debugging.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like ADO CI/CD and GCP Cloud Build, as well as infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a keen understanding of cloud security and incident management protocols.
• Certifications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform are beneficial.
