Responsibilities Include

• Undertaking user research and requirements analysis to grasp user needs accurately.
• Participating across the software lifecycle, focusing on software specification, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Crafting efficient, clean, and reusable code by leveraging modern development methodologies.
• Driving product concepts and incubation projects from their conception through to execution.
• Developing scalable applications through microservices and utilizing Java/JEE alongside other scripting technologies.

Core Technical Skills Required

• Strong abilities in programming languages including Go, Java, Python, and additional scripting languages.
• Expertise in front-end technologies such as React, Redux, Node.js, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, and Codecept.
• Comprehensive understanding of API development, testing, and automation.
• Experience in using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments (e.g., OCP, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, and Java/J2EE for backend development.
• Agile methodology tools expertise (Git, Jira, Jenkins) for project management and CI/CD processes.

Preferred Additional Expertise

• Familiarity with a range of cloud services (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code approaches.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift).
• Linux system management, including scripting and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and problem-solving.
