Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire software system development lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Formulate effective testing strategies to ensure software quality and devise detailed implementation and deployment plans.
• Adapt to the fast-paced finance industry environment and address various aspects of finance-related software systems.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, facilitating the development process to meet those needs.
• Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and business partners to ensure alignment of software development with their needs and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for reusing existing solutions or components within the organization, leading to efficiency gains and cost savings.

Skills/Experience Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Experience in software development, with proficiency in languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, or Scala.
• Strong programming skills and ability to solve complex problems.
• Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, software design principles, and core programming concepts.
• Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, capable of designing and implementing solutions across the entire software stack.
• Excellent communication skills, essential for conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and for effective collaboration within a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with financial concepts or a willingness to learn about them is considered a plus.
