Key Responsibilities

• Providing daily support for Linux-based systems to ensure smooth operation and address arising issues.
• Monitoring system performance, resource utilization, and health on a daily basis.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Executing manual scripts for routine maintenance tasks, backups, and system checks as needed.
• Demonstrating expertise in Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and administration.
• Modifying and enhancing the existing codebase to address changing requirements or optimize performance.
• Utilizing programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl to develop automation scripts and tools.

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Linux command line interface and shell scripting.
• Experience with Perl or Shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of XML, XPATHS, and their applications in systems.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fluid environment, adapting to changing requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, capable of resolving issues in complex systems.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Java and Python programming languages.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git and issue tracking tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with SQL for database querying and manipulation.
• Experience with networking protocols and secure file transfer methods (FTP, SFTP, SSH).
• 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working hours 12 PM to 9 PM IST, Hybrid working mode.
