Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire software development process from requirement gathering and analysis to coding, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Develop comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software quality and devise detailed plans for system implementation and deployment.
• Thrive in a fast-paced finance industry environment, demonstrating adaptability to various aspects of finance-related software systems.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, facilitating the development process to meet those needs.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders and business partners to ensure alignment of the developed software with their needs and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for reusing existing solutions or components within the organization, leading to efficiency gains and cost savings.

Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Experience in software development, preferably using languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, or Scala.
• Strong programming skills and proficiency in solving complex problems.
• Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, software design principles, and core programming concepts.
• Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, capable of designing and implementing solutions across the entire software stack.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, interact effectively with various stakeholders, and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate with team members and stakeholders globally.
• Familiarity with financial concepts or a willingness to learn about them is considered advantageous.
