Key Responsibilities

• Possessing relevant experience in cloud technologies, including overall IT operations delivery.
• Demonstrating experience in team management, leading a team of at least 2+ resources.
• Proficiency in ITIL terminology for Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Expertise in creating Cloud-based infrastructure aligned with business requirements and organizational frameworks.
• Supporting various operating system versions including Microsoft Windows Server and Linux.
• Executing server hardening and patching processes effectively.
• Developing and maintaining secure Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) infrastructure.
• Proficient in creating and managing scripts for instance provisioning and de-provisioning.
• Ensuring organizational security compliance and conducting audit and compliance activities proficiently.
• Implementing various system health monitoring alerts and resolving issues promptly.
• Engaging in cost optimization activities, including lifecycle management and resource optimization.
• Collaborating with development teams to deploy patches and fixes efficiently.
• Managing the full lifecycle of cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, automation, and security.
• Leading the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud and administering multi-tier workload environments effectively.
• Configuring and fine-tuning cloud infrastructure systems adeptly.
• Performing cloud platform level software upgrades and automating tasks using scripts proficiently.
• Establishing metrics, monitoring cloud utilization, and accurately performing resource backups.
• Deploying automation infrastructure using Cloud Formation techniques skillfully.
• Managing VPCs, Bastion hosts, and coordinating with the network team for network connections seamlessly.
• Monitoring availability, performance, billing, and cost optimization strategies effectively.
• Managing disaster recovery, backups, and capacity planning for cloud components proficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Demonstrating strong experience with AWS services such as EC2 instances, AWS Networking, AWS S3, Azure AD, and AWS NACL/SGs.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code concepts and experience with tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring and management tools for AWS like AWS Security Hub, Config Rules, CloudWatch, and VPC Flow Logs.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Possessing excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Holding relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Sysops, AWS Solutions Architect).
• Exhibiting strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrating a good understanding of ITIL Process flow.
• Willingness to work in 24*7 rotational shifts, including early mornings and night shifts.
