Job Summary

The role of Analyst Trainee at Deloitte provides an opportunity to work across various service portfolios and industries, allowing professionals to specialize in their skills while remaining adaptable to address clients' critical needs and emerging market opportunities. Professionals in this role will gain exposure to various technology risk domains such as cyber incident simulations, security testing, ethical hacking, incident response, cloud application security, secure software, forensics, and IT controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing clients' IT controls and processes across security and risk management operations to enhance operational performance.
• Providing support for live applications related to data privacy and security controls, ensuring they remain operational and secure.
• Delivering managed services programs using ITIL aligned processes to maintain highly secure and available mission-critical systems and address software vulnerabilities.
• Establishing methods for monitoring smart devices connected to the enterprise network to ensure security and compliance.
• Performing continuous monitoring and security analytics as part of a Security Operations Center (SOC) to detect and respond to security threats effectively

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, EEE, ECE, EIE, and related disciplines.
• Graduating year – 2023
• Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 60% equivalent with no standing backlog/arrears
• Student has not been assessed by Deloitte in the past six months

Preferred Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) to communicate effectively in a global, virtual platform.
• Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and adherence to processes.
• Customer-centric approach focused on solving customer-reported issues effectively.
• Moderate analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying areas of continuous improvement.
• Moderate computer programming skills in languages like C, C++, Java, Python, relational databases, networking concepts, and SQL.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of cybersecurity and risk domains would be advantageous.
• Curiosity and agility in solving complex and challenging problems are desirable traits.
