Key Responsibilities

• Participate in prototyping, architectural design, coding, testing, and deployment phases of software development.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the applications being worked on, including their structure, operation, and usage by customers.
• Stay updated on new technologies and development tools through regular research activities.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Remain flexible and adaptable to take on additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Skills Required

• Strengthen scripting skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby, and deepen understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Develop a functional understanding of both relational and non-relational databases, including SQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with various software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Acquire knowledge of refactoring techniques and strategies for improving code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Learn and apply design principles and patterns such as SOLID principles, design patterns (e.g., Factory, Singleton, Observer), and architectural patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM).
• Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies, including Agile principles, Scrum ceremonies, user stories, and sprint planning.

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in software development or related fields.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including its various phases such as requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++, including a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts like inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism.
• Familiarity with multi-tiered application design and development principles.
• Familiarity with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server and Oracle.

Preferred Experience & Education

• Knowledge of medical devices or healthcare software.
• Familiarity with .NET-ASP, C#, VB.net.
